Hi.  My name is Gary Kilpatrick. I’m glad you stopped by to visit my blog.

My purpose is quite simple – to try to explore the truth.  I intend to use this blog primarily to discuss local and state issues (I live in Oklahoma), but I will also delve into national issues from time to time.  My passion is to try to expose the facts behind an issue, and I prefer to cite original source documents when I can find them.

I will present my arguments in a respectful manner, and I expect any comments to also be respectful.  But I will admit that I have a hard-hitting style.  I don’t usually beat around the bush; if I think something is wrong I will just say so.  If I make errors in my facts or omit important information I want to know about it.  I make mistakes, and sometimes new information leads me to new conclusions – as it should with any thoughtful person.

Finally I should be clear that my worldview is a Biblical worldview.  I am no theologian, but I hope that visitors to my blog may over time see something here that compels them to consider Christ.
